I stumbled across your site. I have been looking it over. I also have been watching the Shepherd's Chapel on and off for years. The question I have for you at this moment concerns your writings stating Dr. Murray attributes the Jews as Kenites. I am a bit confused. I have never heard the Chapel call Jews (Kenites). Jews are the members of the tribe of Judah. Kenites according to what I have gleaned from the broadcasts are the descendants of Cain, who after killing his brother Able, upon getting kicked out of Adam's house went to Nod and took a wife.

So where do you see that Murray charges that the Kenites are the Jews?

I have some audio clips on my webpage:  http://oraclesofgod.org/1980/jews.htm  You can hear him tell it in his own words.  In one of the four clips you will hear Arnold Murray struggle to answer a question because he has a fetish about never calling the "Kenites"  "Jews"  That is the root of why you never hear him specifically say "the Kenites are the Jews"  He refuses to call the Jews "Jews." As he has gotten older he has gotten more sly about keeping a lid on his opinions about "The Jews."

 

Listen to the four audio clips and judge for yourself.  Also you will find that numerous Shepherd's Chapel students have written me defending the doctrine that the "Jews" are the Kenites the sons of Satan, but most focus on the Garden of Eden narrative and proving the serpent seed. The identity of the Jews is often a secondary idea, but no one has ever made a serious argument that Dr. Murray does not teach that the people the world calls "Jews" are actually the sons of the "Kenites."

 

If that is not enough, then you should order his tape, "Kenites."  Maybe I should start posting tapes on my website. I will think about it,

Thanks for your reply. The truth is that I have listened to Murray for quite a time and then seemed to have some weird feelings about what I was hearing and so I left for quite a while. But over that next period I couldn't find anyone that seemed to tell the truth and so I reverted back to Murray again. I have never been a staunch SC guy, but liked what I heard for most part. Being somewhat lazy I trusted him and his son when they would reference words back to the original manuscripts. But after listening to the audio clips and trying to reconcile that with the TV broadcasts, I am appalled. To admit that he believes one thing that he would shy away from saying on TV sickens me. The truth is the truth. If he believes it, then he should have no problem saying it to all of his followers.

I am now back in the camp of the naysayers. What a bumpy road I'm on.
