I have to ask. Who do you think you are writing?   My name is Paul  Stringini and I have nothing to do with the webpage you mentioned.  I  am a former student of Arnold Murray and I talk about his teachings on  my website http://oraclesofgod.org

If you don't know what Arnold Murray teaches you will eventually find  out if you keep listening to him and buying his tapes, but he will  never admit to you certain things because he knows that if he says  "the Jews are the Devil's offspring"  people are going to turn him off,  so he hints at it and cryptically refers to them as "Kenites" and  suggests there are "deeper levels" of understanding which he has access to.  I have  some audio clips from years ago where he makes it clear who the "Kenites" are, http://oraclesofgod.org/1980/jews.htm but he is much  more guarded these days and will not publicly admit that the people you think of as Jews are ALL (or at least 99.9999%) the literal offspring of the Devil through Cain.  In my opinion, he is a devious man.

Pardon me for recommending myself but I also have line by line bible  studies which you may find helpful and your walk and true to the  doctrine of Jesus Christ,  you can listen or download them all for free: http://oraclesofgod.org/studies/studies.html

Sincerely,
Paul Stringini

Dear Paul,

Thanks for the response.  I thought I was writing Arnold Murray; and was just wanting to confirm "from the horses mouth" what his teachings were regarding:

1. The Trinity
2. Serpent Impregnating Eve
3. The Rapture
4. Etc.

Well, He only answers questions on the air, I will tell you that the page you initially referred to was not made by people who were very familiar with his teachings.

On the issue of the trinity I can tell you that he and all his disciples SAY they believe in the trinity.  The only catch is that they define "trinity" in their own special way (i.e. not as it has  been defined for the last 16 centuries).

The following information has been taken directly from the official Shepherd's Chapel website:
http://shepherdschapel.com/critics.htm

(You can also look at their statement of faith on the official site, but you will not find an email address there or anyone willing to spend time with you answering questions in detail (as I do).)

From the Shepherd's Chapel Website:

The Trinity or Godhead

"I teach YHVH ("I Am That I Am" and Hebrew for the Sacred Name of God), Yahshua (Hebrew for God's Saviour Jesus) and the Holy Spirit.
When you speak the Truth it is the Holy Spirit manifesting Himself through you. Matthew 10:20 explicitly says "For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you." The meaning, of course, refers to the Holy Spirit as in Mark 13:11 which notes, "but when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do you premeditate; but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye; for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost (Spirit)." I make no apology for teaching the Godhead in this manner, and I certainly do not need an endorsement or approval or further interpretation of my words from any man or group of research witch hunters."

Notice that he uses the term "Trinity" as equivalent to "Godhead."  But that is like using the word "Buick" as equivalent to "Car."  The word "Trinity" has a very specific historical meaning. The way Arnold Murray usually describes the "Trinity" is as being "One God (Person),  three offices" while the trinity is basically the opposite: "One  Office (God), Three Persons." (this is an over-simplification, and perhaps not fair to the Trinitarians)  Just because something is historical or  conventional, that does not mean we should just accept it,  after all  the bible never mentions the word "Trinity" or uses the formulation  "Three persons".  The teachings have to stand on their own merits and should be judged by the record the Apostles left us. YOu may read my views on the nature of God and the Trinity on my Doctrine page

Anyway, since you are looking for "horse's mouth" answers I'll keep it short, but I am a former student and if you look much at my website you will see that I am very fair.  I never like to misrepresent  anyone's position.

2. Serpent Impregnating Eve

That is certainly the teaching according to Arnold Murray, I have had many long discussions with Shepherds chapel students BUT they NEVER,  EVER, argue that Pastor Murray does NOT teach that the serpent seduced Eve sexually.

3. The Rapture

Arnold Murray does not believe or teach a pretribulational rapture.  (And neither do I, without going into it I suggest you look at his website for details)

4. Etc.

I have a very large webpage and many Shepherd's Chapel students have come forward to defend our teacher.  Most would agree that I try to be  accurate about the contents of his teachings.

Sincerely,
Paul Stringini
