I have to be leery of anyone claiming to be a Christian and spending this much effort, time and  money to discredit someone. I watch and study with Shepherd's Chapel as well as a few other online Pastor's and my own local church, and I am always interested in someone pointing to the direction of the truth as written in the bible.

I am sorry, but nothing in your website directs "towards God". It just seems to be slanderous and vindictive. Your writings don't come across as kind and loving, the very essence of God. Maybe try that focus a little more? The website comes across as very negative and worldly (not in a knowledgeable sense, just mean)
It mostly reads as "I" and "me", not picking up a lot of direction from God and Jesus.

God Bless.

Hi Lucy,

Thanks for writing, I have been busy lately and behind on email responses.

You wrote, "I have to be leery of anyone claiming to be a Christian and spending this much effort, time and  money to discredit someone. "

Well, you are wrong on all three counts.  I do not spend any money to discredit Arnold Murray.  My website exists to provide access to my scripture music and bible studies.  The money I spend on my website is very small (about $200 per year) and the only reason it costs that much is because of all the free audio I provide for people, which has nothing to do with Arnold Murray.  The Shepherd's Chapel section of my website is just a  very small part of a preexisting ministry.  The Arnold Murray section costs me nothing.

Time?  It doesn't take much time at all to discredit Arnold Murray.  What takes time is answering people such as yourself and others who write.  I consider that time well spent on behalf of individual people, not time spent on Arnold Murray.  If you look at my webpage you can quickly see that I wrote 4-5 small articles about Arnold Murray and spent the rest of my time answering emails from people.  I could waste a lot of time on Arnold Murray, but I really don't think he is worth it.  That leads to the next point.

Effort.  It takes no effort at all to discredit Arnold Murray, he does most of the work himself.  What takes effort is patiently responding to Shepherd's Chapel followers. I make no apologies for that.

You wrote, "I watch and study with Shepherd's Chapel as well as a few other online Pastor's and my own local church, and I am always interested in someone pointing to the direction of the truth as written in the bible."

That cannot be true.  Becuase you are writing me in defense of a man who has made a career out of corruptiong what the bible says in favor of his own imaginations.  Arnold Murray's teaching about the garden of Eden is a prime example.  Arnold Murray teaches people to disbelieve what the bible says in favor of reading secret meanings into the text based on phony claims of  special knowledge from non-existent confirmation from manuscript evidence and abuse of the Strong's concordance.

You wrote,  "I am sorry, but nothing in your website directs "towards God""

That is just plain not true.   I have hundreds of hours of free bible studies and scripture music.  You are only seeing what you want to see.

You wrote, "It just seems to be slanderous and vindictive."

Again, that is entirely untrue.  I suppose you could say it "seems" slanderous.  But there is nothing slanderous on my website at all.  I think you need to refresh your memory in regards to the meaning of that word.  And also "vindictive."  There is nothing vindictive on my website either.  That is just how you want to percieve me so you don't have to deal with the substance of what I have to say.

You wrote, "Your writings don't come across as kind and loving, the very essence of God."

I got news for you.  Not everything in the bible comes across as kind or loving either.  Matthew 23 for example.  And Arnold Murray is not known for his kindness, he is better known for his flattery of those who agree with him.  But I have found plenty of people who would disagree with you about my
writings.

You wrote, "Maybe try that focus a little more?'

Maybe you should look a little harder. You are focusing on the manner the message is delivered, without really looking to see if what was said was true, the Bereans would be ashamed of you.

You wrote, " The website comes across as very negative and worldly (not in a knowledgeable sense, just mean)"

Worldly?  That does not make any sense at all.  I think you are just sore at  me for Arnold Murray's sake.  What exactly are the "worldly" aspects of my  website?

You wrote, " It mostly reads as "I" and "me", not picking up a lot of direction from God and Jesus."

You only see what you want to see.  I could say the same about you.  Look at your message to me.  I see a whole lot of "I's" in there.

If I went around claiming to have direction for you from God and Jesus I sincerely doubt that you would think I spoke truly.

Again, you did not even seriously look at my website.  People will figure that out in about 5 minutes.

Sincerely,

Paul Stringini
