You are not telling the truth concerning Dr. Murray and what he teaches. You need to ask yourself  who you came in contact with that negatively affected you and twisted your understanding/perspective. Possibly your then girlfriend and whomever you came in contact with through her.

I have a younger brother that is easily influenced by whatever girlfriend or wife he is with at the Time. I suspect you may have the same problem.

No insult intended.

Hi. Sorry, I nearly lost your message.

You are right about girlfriends.  They can be very influential on people.  But that was not the case with me.  I was the influencer of my wife.

I was the one who first introduced my wife to the Shepherd's Chapel (she was not yet my wife)  A few years later we were married in front of Arnold's desk (actually it was less than a year).  That was 1995.  In 2005 I received the holy spirit and I had a complete change of mind, this was very sudden and unexpected for my wife. We had quite a discussion before I finally convinced her that many of the doctrines we were following were a corruption of the scriptures.

I have tried to tell people since I started doing this in 2007...  What persuaded me away from the doctrines of Arnold Murray was the scriptures and the spirit of God.  I had been studying Murray's doctrines for about ten years. Over that time, I kept encountering problems and difficulties in the scriptures which eroded my faith in Arnold Murray's doctrine.  When I received the Spirit it was like everything fell into place.

Why do I think Adam and Eve ate fruit in the garden?  Because that is what the writings of Moses lead me to believe, that is what the words in the scriptures describe, plainly, in fact, it is so simple, a child could understand it (but what child would think that they were copulating with the serpent is beyond me!)  That, very simply, is it.  Over so long a time, the bible eroded my confidence in his teachings and when I received the spirit of God, in a powerful way, which I could not deny, the spirit persuaded me finally.

You are right about girlfriends though.  They can be very influential on people.  But that was not the case with me.  I am the influencer.

Sincerely
Paul Stringini

Comment: Also, on rereading this message, I realize I did not respond to the accusation that I was not "telling the truth" about what Dr. Murray teaches.  As always, this claim is made with no supporting evidence, and no specifics. This is an untrue claim.  I do not know whether it comes from ignorance or from a desperate desire to discredit me, even if it means making things up.  Since January 2014 I have been listening to Arnold Murray's Cassettes and I find that, other than the one or two issues I  have already corrected, I have never misrepresented Murray's teachings and there are no outstanding specific and supported accusations against me.  I would gladly correct any misrepresentation of Murray's teaching.  I oppose his teachings, not his person.  Making things up about what he teaches does not make any sense to me.  The strength of my opposition comes from the fact that I oppose his actual teachings.
