The idea that we could have
gotten through 5 or six trumps without anyone (except Dr. Arnold Murray
and his faithful students, of course) noticing is absolutely
ridiculous. I do believe that the end times could begin soon, but I
would also allow that the end times may be some time off. (Personally I
think they may be about 15 years off, and we ought to thank God if they
are) They have been telling me my whole life that I was living in the
end times and, frankly, these guys are totally wrong.
The end times are not some secret only to be
known by a few enlightened elites. The whole world is going to know
it is the end of the age. Those that have not prepared themselves
in faith spiritually may be caught up in the perplexity and
confusion of those days. And of course, many people will die during
those years. One third of the people on earth will die.
1Cor 14:8 8 For if the trumpet give an uncertain sound, who
shall prepare himself to the battle?
The trumpets of Revelation are the most important
and visible signs of the end. They are called "trumpets" because
they are intended to send a message, they are supposed to be a clear
and CERTAIN signal that the end is underway. Arnold Murray was
saying we were in the 5th trumpet in 1995 and that was what
initially began to turn me off from his teachings, he also falsely
predicted the end back in the 80's I have a special page dedicated
to that, Arnold turns TRUMPETS into WHISPERS and they only sound in
his ears. What arrogance. The man has proven himself to be a false
prophet in the past and still keeps using the same questionable
methods of interpretation to unlock secrets that God has his from
the eyes of men...
Col 2:18 ...intruding into those things which he
hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,
Guys like Murray like to delve into secrets, and
people love to be told things they think are secret, but it is
mostly the vain imaginations of men exalting themselves above the
knowledge given by Christ..
2Cor10:5 Casting down imaginations, and every
high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and
bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
I believe that the first
several trumpets are literal events which the whole world will
recognize as being harbingers of the end. This is the simple view
and makes sense. The idea that these "signals" could have happened
without any clear event to tie them to is just bogus. The later
trumpets are slightly more veiled in symbology, When the time
comes, the faithful will recognize and understand what those
passages mean.
Daniel 12:8 And I heard,
but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end
of these things?
9 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and
sealed till the time of the end.
10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked
shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the
wise shall understand.
So to sum my view up, we are not living in the
end times, not yet anyway, and the end times will begin with the
first trumpet, this will be the SIGNAL (a trumpet is a signal) that
the end has begun. As follows: Hail and fire mingled with blood,
(the blood could come from creatures that are struck by this deadly
hail). the hail may not be normal hail, it may come from space and
be the flaming broken pieces of an icy comet. The hail and fire will
be immediately followed by the second trump, the mountain burning
with fire which is cast into the sea, which I think is likely
referring to a comet, a rocky part of a comet or meteor striking the
earth somewhere in the seas. The devastation will destroy a third
of sea life and a third of shipping. This is followed by the third
trump which may be related or may be a second smaller object which
will poison a third of the earth's fresh water, in the fourth trump
the skies will be darkened, probably from the ash that will be
thrown up into the sky from the impacts and from the forest and
grass fires (first trump).
After that it gets a little harder to
understand, but as the angel told Daniel, the wise will understand.
So we ought to be wise and cleanse ourselves from unrighteousness
and sin and walk worthy of the calling of our Lord Jesus Christ,
because when those days do come, there will be no doubt what is
happening, only doubt as to what we should do. The Lord will guide
the faithful in those days.
All one has to do is read the trumpets to know PM
is full of it, and so is every other end-time preacher who claims we
are already in the last days. I want to see the kingdom of our Lord
come and I do wish to serve God in those days, but they are not here
yet, if now actually was the tribulation? all I can say is that
would be the biggest disappointment EVER. This would be the most
pathetic end-times. I can't even express it in writing.
Everything I ever read in the bible tells me that
the end times are not some secret event,
Rev 6:15 And the kings of
the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief
captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man,
hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from
the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of
the Lamb:
17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to
stand?
Now I would add, that those days will certainly
be a surprise when they begin to happen, but once things get going
there will be no doubt that the age is ending...
