Subject: Regarding Dr. Arnold Murray
Shepherd's Chapel!
Well I am just a old 55 year old man and my daddy was a
missionary Baptist Preacher for years.
I asked my daddy many questions about God as a child and later
in life until his death and he always told me to ask God in prayer
to find answers and my mind.
I have found the teachings of Arnold Murray to be what I have
considered in my mind and life and his teaching seem to be the same
answers I found on my own. I am not a scholar or greatly educated
and could not find any church to call pure and that taught the
truths of the bible without asking for money and there was always
skewed teachings in almost all churches I visited.
I find the teaching of this man to be as close to truth as I
can come to on my own study and considerations.
I am as close to the old doubting Thomas as they get for sure.
If Christ appeared before me in a body right now I would have to
question him with so many words he would most likely leave or make
absolutely clear in my mind that he was the Lord.
So, I pray that I am a friend to God and Jesus even as a
failure as I am in life and not making mistakes. I fear even the
things I need to repent of can not be all remembered and can only
rest in faith that I have included them all in my prayers.
I hope you find the right path and that what I consider to be
truth both bringing us together into a great family after this life
in this animal body.
Have a great Day

I ask for you guidance in what you may know or the Lord moves
you to speak unto me.
Can you speak unto me what the Lord speaks to you to tell me?
Thanks

Dear Name Withheld,
I believe that you sent this message to me
in error. This email address does not go to the Shepherd's Chapel. I
did not fully realize this until I read your second message and the I
figured out that "Shepherd's Chapel!" Was not the title but the
greeting. My name is Paul Stringini and I am a former student of the
Shepherd's Chapel. I oppose Arnold Murray and his teachings. And write
about it extensively on my website. I do not know if the Shepherd's
Chapel has an email address.
There was one observation I wanted to make
to you. And that is that Arnold Murray certainly does ask for money.
He asks for money every single broadcast. "We are brought to you by
your tithes and offerings if we have helped you please help us keep
coming to you." Not that I object to him asking for money, but he talks
like it is a sin to do that, and so he is a hypocrite. He is always
selling book, selling CD's, selling, selling, selling. He is basically
using a psychological trick on you, he says "I never beg for money,"
but that is just playing with words, his ministry gathers in millions
every year and he has his hand out each and every day to ask for more.
I'm not the one who says its a sin.
Sincerely,
Paul Stringini

No sending it to you to understand your thoughts. I read your
internet site and found many of your ideals and such to be truth as
well as my thoughts on Murray.
Thanks for reply

Hi Name Withheld,
I would say that the date of Christ's birth
is irrelevant. What is relevant it that the word became flesh and dwelt
among us. I say that it is lawful to celebrate the birth of Christ on
any day, whether it be Sept 29, Dec 25, or April 1. The Advent of
Christ is always a worthy cause to celebrate on any day of the year, or
preferably, every day. But we ought not let it be an occasion to the
flesh that our minds should be puffed up with knowledge that does not
make us more righteous than others. Some people are so hung up on what
they know that they do not take the time to really examine what they
DO. I like Christmas because on Christmas even the world is forced to
acknowledge Christ, and they sing about him all month in the public
places and in the stores. That is good.
Sincerely,
Paul Stringini

not your schedule is and how much time I am consuming
with our basic emails but I agree with this reply with complete
heart and soul.
I do understand the part where so many people are hung up
on celebrations of days and such. One thing I have found in life
or consider to be worry of mentioning is the Sabbath. Many of my
friends are either not working on Saturday or Sundays and in my
heart to me each day is a sabbath in my mind by thinking and
considering my life with the blessing from the Lord Jesus, so to
me every day is a sabbath and a day of rest unto me inside as
Jesus is my rest.
I do thank you fro your time and words as communicating
directly with another is so good for my soul as I do not attend
churches, or rarely would be better said. I consider the House
of the Lord to be my body and when I an another are together
speaking about the Lord then a church is there and the church to
me is the Lord gathered with two others. So I am thankful for
your replies.
You have a great day my friend and thanks again.
