I've never known how to reply to this message from a Chapel Student, so I never did.

Personally, I believe she is way too generous to me.  My prayers and best wishes are with her...

Subject: Your Article on Pastor Murray
Dear Mr. Stringini,

I have just stumbled upon your website this morning and have read your take on our dear Pastor Murray. I have to say, I am impressed. Here is someone who is challenging Shepherd's Chapel's teachings in a calm, businesslike manner, with no accusations/hatred and simply asking questions and doing the best to state the truth.
I myself have been a part of the church for a majority of my life, as long as I really can remember. I love the people. I love Pastor and actually am very close to him and his family. So, I too have no problem or negative feelings.
But as you have, I have begun to question his teachings - not so much in skepticism (though it is in part) but also in a strong desire to be able to back up anything I say and help counter those who question and have proof of their own for their beliefs. As he has taught me and you have mentioned, I have a strong desire not to follow what I am told by man but to hold the truth. My family has had disagreements already with his teachings, but, we follow because we believe Pastor still strives for that truth.
I suppose in a round-about way, I am trying to say I have seen your writing, and wanted to say thank you - it is nice to see I am not crazy! I will admit there are some things I may disagree with you about, but I have not taken much time in-depth, so, my stance is not valid. And as long as we do our best to understand truth for ourselves and not follow men, I believe our Lord will give us some credit.
I am young - very young you might say - so the more I go against what I have grown up with appears risky because of my lack of experience. I have only started jumping so in-depth in recent times, because I am becoming accountable and realize there are many out there that would doubt my theories. So I truly appreciate this new representation and interpretation of the word to study and discuss. I wish to keep your email and will likely contact you in the future with questions or discussions.
Thank you again for your desire to help others see what God is truly speaking, and thank you for your time.

Blessings and Regards,
