Just about an hour ago as I sit in my car listening to a sermon while waiting to go and pick up my daughter from pre school a man approached my car and asked who I was listening to. I said John MacArthur. He then said what church to you belong to so I told him community Christian Church. He then said " we do church over the internet" he said it was very unique and was called Shepherd's Chapel. After about five minutes into the conversation I knew this man had been deceived. The first thing was neglecting our meetings together and than his view on every church, every where. He said and I quote " they are teaching lies about the rapture and it isn't going to happen " he then spoke of Heaven being on earth. For a minute I honestly thought the man was Jehovah' Witness. I haven't gone to seminary to learn what I know. I was taught by Gods own Spirit. When this man opened his mouth red flags went up. He us truly sincere about this " doctrine" that seems like the truth but is not. He says he believes it because Murray shows the scriptures when he is making his point. This man has been deceived and has closed his mind and hardened his heart to the truth of God. He now believes everyone is misled and only Murray is teaching the truth. I will see this man in six days. I hope within these six days to gather the biblical truth and present it to him. My heart is deeply burdened for this man and others who are being misled. When will we all just start taking Gods word for it? Thank you for what you are doing here.
