I have fallen upon your site and I was saddened by the hate and dis contempt. I try to do all thing as the Father in Heaven wants me to and sometimes I look back and see my mistakes. What a blessing that is. I am a child of GOD. I hear his voice in all things and through all people. He shows me mysteries in his word and in his creations. I AM NO ONE compared to our Lord and Savior, my friend and father. I am not sure why I am writing you, I guess it is in his will. I pray that the words that you need to hear are HEARD! In Jesus's name I pray, AMEN.

Follower of Christ, Here is your problem, you do trust in men, you are leaning on your own understanding.  I really do understand you have written me in all sincerity and what you deem "love" but you have not been instructed in these things, and therefore you do not UNDERSTAND them properly.  Who told you what I was doing was wrong?  It was Man, and not God.  You have been listening to men.  Men are anxious to protect their reputations, so they teach you not to be critical of teachers.

 

1Tim 5:20 Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear.

 

It is proper to publicly attack certain kinds of sin.  False doctrine is CERTAINLY and ESPECIALLY something that ought to be PUBLICLY rebuked because it AFFECTS people other than the sinner.  There are certainly examples in scripture...

2Tim 2:18 17 And their word will eat as doth a canker: of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus; Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some. (Arnold Murray does the EXACT same thing! ["They are with Him.")

But you say I ought to love my enemies.  I suppose that means I should just let them have the run of the place and keep my mouth shut?  That is your idea of love? I call it cowardice.

Did the Lord not teach you HOW to love your enemies?  Do you know HOW to love your friends?  If you don't properly love your friends you will never  love your enemies right either.  There are many scriptures on the subject and I bet you don't know this one.

Lev 19:17 Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him.

What this verse means is that if you see your brother/neighbor sin, and fail to rebuke him, it means that you HATE him.  There is no love in keeping silence while watching people corrupt God's word.

I understand your good intentions, so please try to understand mine.  The only hatred in any of my writings is that hatred of that which is false.

Psalm 119:128 Therefore I esteem all thy precepts concerning all things to be right; and I hate every false way.

I believe that the things written in God's word are right, when I see those things being corrupted, I hate it.  I hate it because when the word of God is corrupted people get HURT.  They get led astray.  If I didn't do anything about it then I would be as guilty as the corrupter.  Silence is assent.  Silence is HATE.

The only teacher I ever had was Arnold Murray, I suppose that was his "bad luck," but I feel it is an obligation to me to expose his false doctrine because I used to spread it myself.  False doctrine is the sin of heresy and it is as deadly to the soul as adultery.

Gal 5:19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

We all make mistakes, but what if no one ever told us that the mistakes we were making were going to destroy us.  God forgives sin, but "the whole need not a physician."  Until we recognize our sin we never seek healing.  Doctrine saves and destroys because doctrine is what describes faith, wrong description, wrong faith, no salvation.

1Tim 4:16 Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.

I get letters from people like you all the time, amateur Christians playing at the shallow end of the pool, never going deep, still acting like children, it is time to grow up Name Withheld.  You have faith but you need to add to your faith,  you've got to grow up.

Eph 4:15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:

Love is what DOES good,  not what FEELS good.  Learn the difference, I recommend my line by line bible studies (which contain no references to Arnold Murray)
