Subject: The last day of time
Good Day to you!!  I was wondering if Shepherd's Chapel believes that the last day of this world is May 21, 2011.  I have learned so much from Mr. Murray and Family Radio and the Bible.  Family Radio is located in Oakland California.  Mr. Camping from Family Radio  has stated and still states that he has added up the days and that May 21. 2011 is the last day of time.  God says no one knows of the last day.  Am I wrong?  Then everyone else is saying December 21. 2011.  Please email me if you get a chance at Address withheld.   My name is  Name Withheld and I live in Location Withheld.  Also why do so many now go to church on Sunday to worship Christ,  when Saturday is the Sabbath?  Is it because of the Jews and the Church or is it because of the Sabbath day.   Thank You Name Withheld

Hi Name Withheld, and thanks for writing.

I was wondering if Sheppard Chapel believe that the last day of this world is May 21, 2011.

I don't think they believe that.  I will personally guarantee that May 22, 2011 will come.  Also, Pastor Arnold Murray and Harold Camping are both false phophets, you really ought to give a serious bible study a try.

We are not living in the end times, YET.

I have learned so much from Mr. Murray and Family Radio and the Bible.  Family Radio is located in Oakland California.  Mr Camping from Family Radio  has stated and still states that he has added up the days and that May 21. 2011 is the last day of time.

Mr. Camping is a serial liar. His predictions have failed time after time.

God says no one knows of the last day.  Am I wrong?

You are right.  We will see the end coming, but no one knows the day or the hour of the end.  As I said before we are not living in the end times yet, I do believe I will see the end times but I believe we are about 16 years away from the end times.

Then everyone else is saying December 21. 2011.

Just remember when it doesn't happen that I said  it wouldn't happen.  Camping and Murray will both be dead before the end times begin.

Also why do so many now go to church on Sunday to worship Christ,  when Saturday is the Sabbath?

Because they still look to a day to fulfill the law instead of looking to Christ who is the new Sabbath, if we enter into his rest.
I worship Christ every day and that is the most excellent way to keep the Sabbath.

Colossians 2:16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the Sabbath days: 17 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.
I will never let anyone judge me over Sabbath days.

Is it because of the Jews and the Church or is it because of the sabbath day.

They think they are honoring the Sabbath, the catholic church claims to have "transferred the solemnity" from Saturday to Sunday, I don't believe they can do that but it is pointless to argue over a dead issue.

Sincerely
Paul Stringini

Thank You for responding to me.  I do read the Bible and let the Lord
our God move me to understanding.  I use Mr. Camping and Mr. Murray and
tools to look threw the scriptures.  I do not believe that going to
church, because each church has there own reasoning when It comes to
the Bible.  I feel that trust the scripture, I read my Bible.  I felt
in my heart that this is wrong on the last days to come represented by
Mr. Camping.  I did read only our Lord God knows.  Thank You!!!!   Name Withheld
