I have to give Pastor Murray a Big Thumbs up; along with Dr Gene Scott University Network (Melissa Scott). In my opinion they fit the bill of the Two Churches that The Lord is pleased with. Of course all Men make mistakes, is their teaching perfect--No, but what man or organization is? And, if you know your bible A Man of God will sometimes throw out a Red Herring--Case in point: When Moses raised up the Brass Serpent, and told those bitten by the flying serpents to bow before it if they wanted to live--After they cried to him for their lives (Instead of Crying to God)--Here's a man of God controlling and directing an effigy of Satan, all those who bowed before the Brass serpent lived out their lives--40 years in the wilderness, but did not see the promised land. Was Moses a Deceiver?
The Brass serpent was finally destroyed during the reign of Josiah (Whom the Lord Favored), it had become an object of worship, even with its sundry past and direct link to denial of entrance to the Holy Land.
Remember all men are creatures of time and place--But the Word of God Reigns Forever.

Hi,

I have to give Pastor Murray a Big Thumbs up; along with Dr Gene Scott University Network (Melissa Scott). In my opinion they fit the bill of the Two Churches that The Lord is pleased with.

By the term "Two Churches" this emailer refers to the comments of Christ regarding Smyrna and Philadelphia in Revelatoion.

Revelation 2:9 "and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan."
Revelation 3:9 "...them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie;"

I disagree,  Pastor Murray fits the bill as the synagogue of Satan.  He is not a Jew and claims to be one.  Jesus and the Apostles called the Jews Israel. They never called German barbarians Jews (but Pastor Murray does).  I don't know Gene Scott but I suspect it is the same.  These doctrines are just the devil's own, corrupting the word of God and doing the work of their father the devil, claiming to be Jews, but they are liars.  The simplest explanations are often best.

Of course all Men make mistakes, is their teaching perfect--No, but what man or organization is?

I may make mistakes, but my teachings, my doctrines, are perfect.  Of course, I just stick to the doctrine of the Apostles and of Christ.  But other folks seem to have trouble with that and have given themselves to fables and foolish talk.  It is not hard to understand the truth if you submit yourself to it instead of making it submit to you.  And that is what they do.

The bible claims that doctrinal perfection is not unobtainable.  IT IS REQUIRED.

Titus 2:7 In all things showing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine showing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity,

So, by your words, your opinions, I know, for a fact, that you have been listening to the wisdom of man instead of the wisdom of God.  I already know the kind of mocker you are.

And, if you know your bible A Man of God will sometimes throw out a Red Herring--

A red herring is is an idiomatic expression referring to the rhetorical or literary tactic of diverting attention away from an item of significance.   (just to make sure we are on the same page here) The red herring is a distraction, but Moses did not create a distraction.  That is what the people later made of it out of their own sin.  It is like calling the cross a red herring because people bow and pray before it.  Moses certainly did not intend to create a red herring any more than Christ did by being crucified, they were both obeying God.

Case in point: When Moses raised up the Brass Serpent, and told those bitten by the flying serpents to bow before it if they wanted to live--

You don't have your story straight.  Please be accurate.

Num 21:8 And the LORD said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live.
9 And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived.
After they cried to him for their lives (Instead of Crying to God)--Here's a man of God controlling and directing an effigy of Satan, all those who bowed before the Brass serpent lived out their lives--40 years in the wilderness, but did not see the promised land.

Your interpretation of this passage is filled with presumptions that make for interesting storytelling but do not add anything to the truth.

Was Moses a Deceiver?
Ha! That is not the same as the preaching false doctrine and corrupting the word of God!  Moses was obeying God. Honestly, your reference to men of God throwing out red herrings, is itself a big fat RED HERRING!

I hope you can see how that is actually very funny.

This "red herring of a red herring" does not support the corrupt idea which you are trying to push - "is their teaching perfect--No, but what man or organization is?" The serpent of brass was perfect, as was the cross.  If they both need to be burned down later, then so be it, because it was not the object but the obedience of the man of God.

You are a pusher of vile corruption.  You support corruption and excuse it.   That is inexcusable. Repent.

Remember all men are creatures of time and place--But the Word of God Reigns Forever.
Why don't you take your own advice?  I get people like you all the time writing me.  You hypocrites come off all superior and try to tell me my business, but on examining your "wisdom"  I find it very very wanting.  You are not a student of the bible, but you have made the bible the student of your own wisdom, cramming it into your philosophy.  You must submit to the scriptures, but what you do is submit the scriptures to the wisdom which proceeds from and pleases men.

Sincerely,
Paul Stringini
