Thank you for your page on Dr Arnold, I have been listening to him and some of the things he is saying does not make sense...but I am not a theologian. It seems to me that things are way to hard to understand, one person says God wants us to prosper and another says NO, not here. I am getting to the point where I don't know what I believe. But with that said, I do think you made some good points and your sounded truthful and genuine.

Well, thanks.  And I would just say that God does want us to "prosper" but always in his time and according to his will.  Too much material prosperity at the wrong time can do us harm.  Too much poverty at the wrong time can do us harm (spiritually) too.  There is a time and season for everything.  And everything is beautiful in its proper time.

Ecclesiastes 3:11 He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.

Obviously, God does not really want us all to prosper in the same way at the same time, or even to necessarily understand what we are going through before we go through it, otherwise we would all share the same story and know the end before we begin.  I certainly look to the Lord for good, when we seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness he promised that the rest would be added to us, and I guarantee you, that is all in his time.

Sincerely,
Paul Stringini
