My daddy was a sinner who was taught about God, understood a lot of things, and even went to church; yet he had sin issues.
My mother was a born-again woman teaching eight children about God and taking us to church. My mother developed Alzheimer's and daddy started caring for her.
Daddy started listening to Pastor Murrary and God changed him.
Daddy told me about Pastor Murray, and I started listening about 15 years ago. I never faithfully listened, just when I could.
I am not working at this time and want ever so to understand and obey God's Word. I started again listening to Pastor Murray's teachings.
I am not a Bible scholar do not understand or agree with a lot of Pastor Murray's teaching. I felt it was because I was unlearned in The Word.
I am married to a pastor, who also has a full time job. When mentioning some of Pastor Murray's teachings, my husband encouraged me to study. I do not know how. I felt that listening to Pastor Murray would help me and thereby help me help my husband and our church.
I am so scared of these "false teachings." I thought I was "on my way" with great insight from Pastor Murray.
What do you suggest for one seeking The Truth, not to impress anyone, but to know The Truth and help others?

Hi, The problem with people like Dr. Arnold Murray is that they make the simple truths of Christianity hard for people to see. If you want to help other people you are already on the right track by desiring good things for other people. If you feel you are lacking in
understanding in the scripture, you would probably get good things out of just reading some of the best parts and letting them really sink in. Helping other people is about wisdom, no amount of secret doctrines or special teaching are going to replace the simple truths that Jesus and the Apostles taught. I would start with them. Learn the basic things they taught. Sin is the worst enemy of man.
I don't know if you looked over my site, but my site is mostly about helping people get into the word of God. In order to help people do that I write music and put the words of the scripture to music to help people learn the word. If you know the word it will be hard for people to deceive you.
http://oraclesofgod.org If you just look over my main page you will see all kinds of scripture songs, if you enjoy listening to them, and listen often, they will help you grow. Try the Psalms and the Gospel songs I wrote. It's all free to download.
If you want to learn the scriptures, I'm going to be starting an audio bible study on my website, and I will send you a email (once) when I do, you can decide for yourself then if I'm worth listening to.. I'm going to try to stick to the simple
critical truths...
