seems to be all consuming to you.  I wonder what you are missing while following someone else so closely for the purpose of denying their teachings.  Seems to me, you might do more good by ignoring him and teaching what God has taught you--let the good win out.  I'm not a follower of either of you--just aware that you both exist.   My long-time personal relationship with my Maker is:  He leads, I follow.  Please consider redirection with God's leading and a positive message.

My First Response:edits in maroon and in ( ), as in: (this is an example of an edit)

I would like to add to my response that subsequent to the email I started a Free Audio Bible Study Series.

"Seems to me, you might do more good by ignoring him" Ignore evil and it will go away, eh? I disagree.

Hi,

"seems to be all consuming to you.  I wonder what you are missing while following someone else so closely for the purpose of denying their teachings. "

No, the Shepherd's Chapel page is just a small part of my website and my ministry. Did you  see the other parts of my website? http://oraclesofgod.org

You have misjudged my situation, I studied intensively with Dr. Murray only from 1993 to 1996, after that, I studied the bible entirely on my own, I taught the bible, I wrote and published 80+ songs using whole chapters of the bible, word for word (on my website).  In 1996 I didn't just reduce my studying with Dr. Murray, I completely stopped listening to him (or anyone else), I still agreed with most of his teachings, at that time, but the few I didn't agree with made it so I just didn't like listening to him anymore.  Eventually I began to disagree with him more and more.

It took me years to get to where I am, it was only in 2007 that I decided to write something against Dr. Murray, over ten years after I stooped listening to him.  So I'm not "following him so closely" it is just that I studied with him at one point and he was influential on the way I started studying the Bible.  I learned a lot and I have a good memory, the years i spent unlearning his doctrine should not be without fruit, I'm sharing what I learned.  I'm not obsessed with Dr. Murray, I'm just adamantly against his teahings which I happen to have intimate knowledge of.

Seems to me, you might do more good by ignoring him and teaching what God has taught you--let the good win out.

People write me all the time blessing me for what I'm doing, there are always a few misguided like you who think it isa sin to mark a false teacher.  If I ignore Dr. Murray I might as well take out a reservation in hell.  Telling people about the false teachings of the Shepherd's Chapel is positive, that is what God has taught me (in part).  God made me a student of Dr. Murray so that I could speak against him with authority, much as Paul was a follower of Judaism and that made his repudiation of it even more powerful.

Leviticus19:17Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him.

It is a sin to watch your neighbor sin and do nothing, it is a manifest token of hatred for ones neighbor.  Pope Pius XII took your approach, and said nothing as thousands of Italian Jews were deported.  Hitler feared that the Pope might speak out, because many Germans were Catholic, he could not have been more delighted when the Pope said nothing.  The Pope was afraid that if he said something it would make things worse, there is nothing worse for your own soul than to remain silent in the face of evil and letting them hurt the innocent, without a word.

Romans16:17 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.
18 For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.

I am commanded by the apostle of Jesus Christ to mark those that go contrary to the doctrine taught by Jesus and his Apostles.   I have thus marked Dr. Murray as such.

This is good, this is positive.

I'm not a follower of either of you--just aware that you both exist.   My long-time personal relationship with my Maker is:  He leads, I follow.

Well, I think you lost track of him. Because your idea of "accentuate the positive" is straight out of the book of man's wisdom.  It does not come from the wisdom that God teaches.  So in writing me you were not following Christ, Your words certainly are not of Christ, perhaps Christ was leading you to me so that you could be instructed in biblical doctrine.

Sincerely
Paul
