"So If You Left Shepherd's Chapel, What Do You Now Believe In?" (Very Short Answers)

I refer readers to my audio bible studies, and to a lesser extent (for now) the "What do you believe?"

I can't answer that question in the time I have available, but to make it short, I believe in the bible. (I wish I had said Jesus Christ, it is really the same in my mind)

I don't have a denomination, I belong to an exclusive cult.

 

do you still believe in rapture?

 

Still? no, I don't believe in the rapture, I believe in the resurrection, a doctrine that Dr. Murray basically denies, teaching instead of a transition from a flesh body to a spiritual body at death.  That is not the doctrine taught by the Apostles and Jesus.

 

are you a calvinist?

 

No, but sometimes I am mistaken for one, I do believe in the limited atonement and predestination

 

(once saved always saved)?

 

Not saved never saved is what I say, meaning this, how could anyone who ends up in the lake of fire ever claim that they were saved at some point in the past?  The lake of fire is what you are supposed to "get saved" from, if you burn in it, you were never saved.

  

Eph1:3Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

 

No man can take that to himself, you cannot just "accept Jesus in your heart" and say, "I'm saved" you have to be made accepted.

 

Eph 1:6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

 

Calvinists believe this "accept the lord in your heart," nonsense, in that sense, I'm nothing like them.
