The scriptures are my mentor, and if the scriptures were Dr. Murray's Mentor, then he has turned on them long ago.  Even if Dr. Murray is the Lord's anointed, you will remember that Saul, the Lord's anointed, was rejected by God.  Even so, the Lord will not overlook the false doctrines of Dr. Murray, they are rejected already.

 

I fail to grasp how that people say that I have "turned on"  Dr. Murray... In what way have I harmed him? Did not David forsake the court of Saul?  Why not say, I have "turned from the truth"?  Have you never learned what Dr. Murray taught about following men?  Anyone who continues to follow Dr. Murray is failing to "check him out in the word of God."

Note:

I know this is hard for people to understand these days.  When I say I have not "turned on" Dr. Murray, people are confused.  In today's world in America I feel like we are so hyper-sensitive; we think that people laughing at us amounts to persecution.  So when I get up and denounce the teachings of Arnold Murray it is "Betrayal!" I think that is ridiculous.  I have not delivered Dr. Murray to the authorities.  He placed no trust in me.  I have never eaten at his table.  I have never dwelt in his "court."  I am not in any position to betray the man.

I should have asked this respondent, what if someone was mentored by Satan himself?  Or some lesser devil, the Pope, perhaps? The Apostle Paul counted the instruction of Gamaliel as dung.  "ONE SHOULD NEVER TURN ON HIS MENTOR" Is an absolute which should not be obeyed.
